Our lifetime warranty provides 100% coverage on all vinyl, hardware, moving parts, workmanship, labour, and material. Glass seals and paint carry their own specific warranties. This warranty is fully transferable, non-prorated, and offers

Limited Lifetime
DOOR warranty

Vinylguard is proud to offer this Industry Leading Limited Lifetime Warranty that is Fully Transferable and Non-Pro-rated. Vinylguard warrants the Patio Door Systems will be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase, provided such patio doors have been used under normal residential conditions.

  • Lifetime Warranty on Unpainted uPVC Vinyl & Aluminum Extrusion against warping. flaking, peeling, rotting, or cracking.
  • The Paint Process used to paint the patio doors carries its own specifications and guarantee which is for a period of TEN ( 10 ) years.
  • Glass Seals are warrantied for a period of TEN ( 10 ) years against defects resulting in obstruction of vision from formation caused by moisture condensation between the glass surfaces.
  • Seal failures are covered inclusive of Labour & Material for TEN ( 10 ) years.
  • Mini Blinds are warrantied for a period of TEN ( 10 ) years against malfunction resulting from normal day to day use. Problems arising from abuse, misuse or consumer negligence are not covered under this warranty.
  • Hardware is warrantied for a period of FIVE ( 5 ) years.

*Against defects resulting in obstruction of vision from formation caused by moisture condensation between the glass surfaces.

No representation is made with respect to condensation on exterior glass surfaces, as condensation is the natural result of moisture in the house, along with changes in temperature and humidity. It does not indicate a defective window and is not warrantied.

Exposure to sunlight, air pollutants and normal atmospheric conditions may cause surfaces to fade or suffer an accumulation of surface dirt or stains and are not warrantied. This warranty is null and void if harmful solvents are used to clean any surface. It is recommended that a mild solution of household soap and water be applied with a soft sponge to clean all surfaces. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, abuse, improper maintenance, harmful cleaning solvents, accident, negligence, or any other cause which is beyond our control. Broken Glass and Torn Screening are exempt from this warranty for any cause whatsoever.

Under no circumstances will Vinylguard Window & Door Systems Ltd. be liable for incidental or consequential charge such as, but not limited to, labour costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage, or injury to persons or to property, or any other expense. All Vinylguard Products must be inspected within one week of receiving, and any damage found must be reported by the Vinylguard Authorized Dealer within this time frame to be recognized and considered as a warranty claim. All claims must be pre-qualified by the Vinylguard Authorized Dealer to ensure issues are not install related. All non-warrantied service calls and or false claims are subject to service fees.

The Vinylguard Warranty may be validated by having this certificate filled out completely and signed by both the Vinylguard dealer and the purchaser. The purchaser should keep this Warranty on file, the information is vital in processing any Warranty Claims. All requests for Warranty Service must be made through the original Vinylguard Dealer. All requests must have the original reference number and the date of purchase, or the information cannot be accessed which will result in the service request being denied.

This Warranty is effective January 1, 2025 and applies only to orders invoiced after that date. Orders invoiced prior to this date are subject to the Warranty conditions in effect at the time of purchase.
