Limited Lifetime
DOOR warranty
Vinylguard offers this Industry Leading Limited Lifetime Warranty that is Fully Transferable and Non-Prorated. Vinylguard warrants the Door Systems will be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase, provided such entry doors have been used under normal residential conditions.
- Lifetime Warranty on All Unpainted Composite Frames & Door Lite Frames from blistering, rot, decay, corroding and uneven discolouration.
- TWENTY ( 20 ) Year Warranty on Factory White Primed Steel Door Panels against warping, rusting, cracking or buckling.
- TEN ( 10 ) Year Warranty on Factory Painted Steel Door Panels against such defects in material and workmanship that
might result in blistering, peeling and uneven discolouration. - TEN ( 10 ) Year Warranty on Mini Blinds against malfunction resulting from normal day to day use. Problems arising from
abuse, misuse or consumer negligence are not covered under this warranty. - TWENTY ( 20 ) Year Warranty on Door Lite Glass Seals against defects resulting in obstruction of vision from formation
caused by moisture condensation between the glass surfaces. - ONE ( 1 ) Year Warranty on Door Hinges (Excluding Outswing Hinges), Door Sweeps, Weatherstripping, and Hardware.
- Lifetime Warranty on All Unpainted Composite Frames & Door Lite Frames from blistering, rot, decay, corroding and uneven discolouration.
- Lifetime Warranty on Warping of Fiberglass Door Panels purchased factory finished Painted or Stained.
- TEN ( 10 ) Year Warranty on Mini Blinds against malfunction resulting from normal day to day use. Problems arising from
abuse, misuse or consumer negligence are not covered under this warranty. - TWENTY ( 20 ) Year Warranty on Door Lite Glass Seals against defects resulting in obstruction of vision from formation
caused by moisture condensation between the glass surfaces. - The Factory Stain Finish is warranted against manufacturing defects in the material and workmanship. Stained Fiberglass doors must be protected from the elements. Sun, rain, snow, etc can break down the finish on your door. Stained Door Panels carry a FIVE ( 5 ) Year Warranty on the finish. Provided the door is protected by an overhang. Simple, periodic maintenance of the clear coat is required to keep it looking fresh and well protected against the elements. There is no set schedule for re-application of the clear coat. Exposure dictates how often maintenance is required.
- ONE ( 1 ) Year Warranty on Door Hinges (Excluding Outswing Hinges), Door Sweeps, Weatherstripping, and Hardware.
Limited LIFETIME WARRANTY
Discolouration of caming in door lites is a normal occurrence and is not warrantied.
Rattling / Vibrating Wrought Iron door lites occur when doors are swung shut and is a normal occurrence that is not warrantied. Storm Doors with glass installed in front of an Entry Door System may cause excessive heat build up that could result in warped door panels, warped vinyl and/or door lite deformity and are not covered under this warranty.
Exposure to sunlight, air pollutants and normal atmospheric conditions may cause surfaces to fade or suffer an accumulation of surface dirt or stains and are not warrantied. This warranty is null and void if harmful solvents are used to clean any surface. It is recommended that a mild solution of household soap and water be applied with a soft sponge to clean all surfaces.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, abuse, improper maintenance, harmful cleaning solvents, accident, negligence, or any other cause which is beyond our control. Broken Glass and Torn Screening is exempt from this warranty for any cause whatsoever.
Under no circumstances will Vinylguard Window & Door Systems Ltd. be liable for incidental or consequential charge such as, but not limited to, labour costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage, or injury to persons or to property, or any other expense. All Vinylguard Products must be inspected within one week of receiving, and any damage found must be reported by the Vinylguard Authorized Dealer within this time frame to be recognized and considered as a warranty claim. All claims must be pre-qualified by the Vinylguard Authorized Dealer to ensure issues are not install related. All non-warrantied service calls and or false claims are subject to service fees.
The Vinylguard Warranty may be validated by having this certificate filled out completely and signed by both the Vinylguard dealer and the purchaser. The purchaser should keep this Warranty on file, the information is vital in processing any Warranty Claims. All requests for Warranty Service must be made through the original Vinylguard Dealer. All requests must have the original reference number and the date of purchase, or the information cannot be accessed which will result in the service request being denied.
This Warranty is effective January 1, 2025, and applies only to orders invoiced after that date. Orders invoiced prior to this date are subject to the Warranty conditions in effect at the time of purchase.
